Eligibility: Must be between the ages of 16–22 to open an Advantage Checking account. A parent or guardian must be a joint owner on accounts for members under 18. Account Requirements: Must establish Advantage Savings account with $25 opening balance and establish an Advantage Checking account with a $5.00 opening balance. Checking requires a minimum opening deposit of $5. No monthly maintenance fees apply. When account holder turns 23, Advantage Checking accounts will convert into a Value Checking account. ATM Access: Unlimited ATM transactions available only at HIFICU and Bank of Hawaii ATMs. Transactions at non-participating ATMs may incur fees from other institutions. Rates are subject to change without notice. Fees may reduce earnings. Mobile Features: Availability of mobile banking, mobile check deposits, and debit card services may depend on account status and device compatibility. Message and data rates may apply. VISA Credit Card: $500 Pre-approval VISA available with joint parent or guardian. Higher limits available with approved VISA application.
