    For California Borrowers, the Visa Platinum, Visa Gold, Visa Classic and Visa Classic Share Secured are secured credit cards. Credit extended under this credit card account is secured by various personal property and money including, but not limited to: (a) any goods you purchase with this account, (b) any shares you specifically pledge as collateral for this account on a separate Pledge of Shares, (c) all shares you have in any individual or joint account with the Credit Union excluding shares in an Individual Retirement Account or in any other account that would lose special tax treatment under state or federal law, and (d) collateral securing other loans you have with the Credit Union excluding dwellings.

    Credit Card Consensual Security Interest

    You grant us a security interest in all individual and joint share and/or deposit accounts you have with us now and in the future to secure your credit card account. Shares and deposits in an IRA or any other account that would lose special tax treatment under state or federal law if given as security are not subject to the security interest you have given in your shares and deposits. You may withdraw these shares unless you are in default.  When you are in default, you authorize us to apply the balance in these accounts to any amounts due.  For example, if you have an unpaid credit card balance, you agree we may use funds in your account(s) to pay any or all of the unpaid balance.

    By signing or otherwise authenticating below, you are affirmatively agreeing that you are aware that granting a security interest is a condition for the credit card and you intend to grant a security interest.

    For the Electronic Document Consent below, "I," "my" and "me" refers to each applicant; and "the credit union" refers to Hawaiian Financial Federal Credit Union.

    CONSENT AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT. By agreeing to this Electronic Document Consent, I consent to receiving certain documents electronically that the credit union would otherwise be required by law to give me "in writing" ("Documents"), conducting transactions in electronic form, and using electronic signatures in my relationship with the credit union. I also acknowledge that: (1) I can access, read, and print this Electronic Document Consent; (2) I can access and receive documents electronically, including email messages sent to my provided email address; (3) I can retain and/or print the documents the credit union sends me electronically; and (4) my electronic signature is the legal equivalent of my written signature, just as if I had signed a paper document.

    This Electronic Document Consent informs me of my rights when receiving Documents electronically. By agreeing to receive Documents from the credit union electronically, I will receive certain disclosures, notices, information and other documents related to my loan application and loan electronically through the credit union's website(s), other web sites related to my loan application, in an e-mail message or as an attachment to an e-mail message to the email address I provide to the credit union in my loan application or otherwise. My Electronic Document Consent will apply to the credit transaction I have requested from the credit union which may give rise to the obligation to provide Documents and to any other transactions, services, and/or products I may have with the credit union . The credit union reserves the right to provide certain Documents and other information via paper or mail even though you have consented to receive such Documents and information electronically.

    Hardware and Software Requirements. To access the Documents, I will need a working email address, Adobe Acrobat Reader (or similar program capable of viewing PDF documents), and a personal computer or other access device that can access the Internet using a web browser. To retain the Documents, my personal computer or access device must allow me to download and save Documents to my hard drive or external storage media, print web pages as well as embedded HTML files, or both. I can save and/or print this page to be sure I have the necessary hardware and software. It is my responsibility to keep my email address updated with the credit union for purposes of receiving Documents. By agreeing to this Electronic Document Consent, you confirm that you meet the Hardware and Software Requirements and you are able to receive electronic Documents from the credit union.

    Withdrawing Consent. I may withdraw my consent to receive Documents electronically at any time by contacting the credit union by telephone at 808-832-8700. If I decide to withdraw my consent, any Document previously provided as an electronic Document will remain valid, enforceable, sufficient for its intended purpose, and unaffected by the withdrawal of my consent. I understand that if I withdraw my consent, I would need to conduct transactions in a non-electronic manner.

    Copies. If I wish to obtain a paper copy of any of the Documents, I may call the credit union by telephone at 808-832-8700 and request a copy at no charge.

    Updating My Contact Information. I can update my e-mail address or mailing address by contacting the credit union, including by telephone at 808-832-8700 or at any branch location.

    1. You promise that everything you have stated in this application is correct to the best of your knowledge, and that the above information is a complete listing of what you owe. If there are any important changes, you will notify us in writing immediately.  You authorize the Credit Union to obtain credit reports in connection with this application for credit and for any update, increase, renewal, extension, or collection of the credit received and for other accounts, products, or services we may offer you or for which you may qualify.  You understand that the Credit Union will rely on the information in this application and your credit report to make its decision.  If you request, the Credit Union will tell you the name and address of any credit bureau from which it received a credit report on you.  It is a crime to willfully and deliberately provide incomplete or incorrect information in this application.
    2. If you are applying for a credit card, you understand that the use of your card will constitute acknowledgement of receipt and agreement to the terms of the Consumer Credit Card Agreement and Disclosure.
