1. HOW TO ENTER
The "Annual Dinner Prize Giveaway Sweepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") will begin on Monday, May 18, 2020 and end on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. Hawaii time (the "Sweepstakes Period"). To participate in the Sweepstakes, you may enter via the following methods: a. Fill out an entry form at any Hawaiian Financial FCU branch location. b. Submit an online entry at www.hificu.com c. To enter without purchase, a 4x6 postcard can be submitted to the address below. Postcard must be addressed to: Annual Dinner Sweepstakes, have your first name and last name, zip code, telephone number, age, and a valid address.
One entry per account regardless of the number of accountholders on each account. All entries submitted become the sole property of Hawaiian Financial Federal Credit Union (the "Credit Union") and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Credit Union. Credit Union's computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes. All entries must be received by 12:00 p.m. Hawaii time on Friday, July 31, 2020. Any entry received after this time will not be eligible. Only one entry per house. The Credit Union is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing a branch, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The Sweepstakes is open to all persons 18 years of age or older. Employees and immediate family members of Hawaiian Financial Federal Credit Union are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. b. Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Credit Union will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Credit Union will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements.
a. Two prizes will be awarded every Friday, starting May 22, 2020 and will continue until July 31, 2020 for a total of 22 prizes.
b. Prize will be available at a branch of the winner's choosing. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed or redeemed after two (2) business days of notification.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prize. The prizes are expressly limited to the items listed above. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of Credit Union management with respect to the Sweepstakes are final. b. Two winners each will be chosen after 12pm on 5/22/2020, 5/29/2020, 6/5/2020, 6/12/2020, 6/19/2020, 6/26/2020, 7/3/2020, 7/10/2020, 7/17/2020, 7/24/2020 and 7/31/2020. c. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Phone notification will be primary and email will be used as backup. Winners must claim their prize within two (2) business days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by random drawing of all remaining eligible entries. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize.
Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. By participating in the Sweepstakes, the winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Sweepstakes without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. The Credit Union, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Credit Union's website or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort. The Credit Union reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Sweepstakes, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Credit Union, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Credit Union reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes and shall not be required to award a substitute prize. Failure to comply with the Sweepstakes rules may result in an entrant's disqualification solely at the discretion of the Credit Union. The Credit Union is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of a prize.
